Hi Guys,

Another one in the personal collections

Days of Thunder

P-47D Thunderbolts of the 84th Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group, scramble from Duxford for a strafing mission, in the spring of 1944.

Remarque by Richard including a piece of P-47 Thunderbolt flown by Captain Bonebrake of the 83rd Fighter Sqn of the 78th Fighter Group, who bailed out over Kent on 3rd September 1944.

And another one for my Richard Taylor collection.

Eagles of the North

I like this one in particular due to seeing the ground crew Engineers working on BF109s.

Hi Guys,

Attacking The Sorpe Dam by Richard Taylor

I have always loved this print and it’s underlying story it represents. I saw a commissioned storyboard version of this on Merlin Aviation website however was sold.

I received my commissioned Piece for my latest birthday and I am over the moon to say the least.

Print from Merlin Aviation (Now Sold)

Latest commissioned print.

Let me know your thoughts!

The Dambusters will always be such a popular subject for historical importance and of sacrifice and courage which resonates with many subjects of WW11

Richard Taylor has incapsulated that moment, Mission and men within that image ;

what a cracking Remarque and truly unique to this print ,

you must be pleased with this and assume it’s a quadruple Remarque very nice indeed, ironically I got to see it in the flesh before framing 😀

Richard Taylor original pencil drawing

I have seen several Richard Taylor pencils drawings of late and this particular print is owned by a friend of mine which has been offered to me to purchase.

As and artist I believe he is definitely on top of his game when it comes to pencil drawings and these originals are, I believe very good value for money’

I have collected Robert Taylor Remarques for several years now but could be changing my collecting habits and going over to Richard??

any thoughts on this !!

 @merlin

Indeed a very nice original drawing by Richard Taylor.

It is worth considering transitioning to Richard Taylor for a few reasons, I think Robert being in his 80’s will eventually slow down the amount of Remarque he completes and when the day arrives when he retires, Richard Taylor will ultimately become no.1 sought after artist, so owning earlier originals surely is beneficial from a collectors point of view for sure.

I think the boys at Merlin Aviation had a few nice pieces available. Worth considering!

These trio are nice — worth a look.

hi I will certainly have a look at that trio  they look great hanging together,

what are your thoughts on the Robert Taylor and Richard Taylor combined works of art,

I contemplated this print not so long ago as it truly is a great ground scene of B29s which are not highly covered as a subject but this was a superbly

 detailed Remarque

   GUIDING THE STRAGGLER HOME

                     By

             Richard Taylor

Spitfires from 504 Squadron provide close escort to a badly damaged Lancaster of 576 Squadron as she limps back to base, having fallen far behind the main force following an arduous raid over Germany, 1944.

This particularly print by Richard Taylor is one of my favourite prints.

since taking an interest in Richards work I really would like to find a mint unframed copy to add to my collection,

The buff prints are definitely very collectible in my opinion and would like any help with this one on finding this sold out edition

Back from the framers finally. The guys at Merlin Aviation did the frame, mounts were done at Aces High.

@mustanglimey

you certainly have a nice selection of prints with a good selection of artists, i myself have Home Run by Robert Taylor,

That's interesting with Frank Wootton i was offered a collection of his prints a little while back and believe Aldertag was one of them,

My first ever print was by Frank.

Looks like a few are ready for hanging, do you still collect or sell any,

I have attached a few photos you might find interesting if your into the 4th & 56th FG, As i live in Essex not far from both Debden and Boxted the attached photos are both taken at what was once the end of the main runways,

Do you have any connections for these particular interest ,

Kind Regards

Ronnie

The first 2 are Debden and last is Boxted

 Got taken behind the ropes at Duxford last month too.
